Checkout Configuration

Overview

The Checkout section allows you to:

• Reduce cart abandonment
• Improve customer trust
• Simplify order management
• Automate tax calculations
• Support multiple payment methods
• Offer promotional discounts

Invoice Configuration

Invoices are automatically generated for customer orders. The Invoice Configuration section allows you to customize the appearance and content of customer invoices.

Invoice Templates

Softize Store provides multiple invoice layouts. You can:

• Preview available templates
• Select the design that matches your brand
• Customize business information displayed on invoices

Business Information

Configure the following details that will appear on all generated invoices:

• Business Name
• Business Address
• Business Phone Number
• Business Email Address

Thank You Message

A personalized message can be displayed on customer invoices.

"Thank you for shopping with us. We appreciate your business and 
look forward to serving you again."

This creates a more professional customer experience.

Coupon Management

Coupons allow you to offer discounts and promotional campaigns. They can be used to:

• Increase sales
• Attract new customers
• Encourage repeat purchases
• Promote seasonal offers

Coupon Code

Create a unique coupon code that customers can enter at checkout.

Discount Type

Select how the discount is calculated. Options include:

• Percentage Discount - Deducts a percentage from the order total
• Fixed Amount Discount - Deducts a fixed amount from the order total

Discount Value

Specify the discount amount based on the selected type.

Minimum Order Amount

Restrict coupon usage to orders above a certain value.

// Example
Minimum Order: ₹1000

Maximum Discount Amount

Limit the total discount provided through percentage-based coupons.

Usage Limits

Control how many times a coupon can be redeemed. Options include:

• Total usage limit - Maximum number of times the coupon can be used across all customers
• Per-user usage limit - Maximum number of times a single customer can use the coupon

Validity Period

Define the active date range for the coupon. Coupons automatically expire after the configured validity period.

Tax Configuration

Tax settings determine how taxes are calculated during checkout.

GST Information

Configure:

• Store Name
• GST Number

This information is displayed on invoices and order records.

Inclusive Tax

When enabled, product prices already include tax. Customers see the final price immediately.

When disabled, tax is calculated separately during checkout.

Tax Enable/Disable

Businesses that are not required to collect taxes can disable tax calculations entirely.

Shipping Configuration

Shipping settings control delivery charges and delivery availability.

Shipping Zones

A shipping zone represents a geographical area where deliveries are available.

Delivery Charges

Specify the shipping fee for each zone.

Standard Shipping: ₹50

Free Shipping Threshold

Offer free delivery for larger orders.

Estimated Delivery Time

Provide realistic delivery expectations to customers.

2-4 Days
5-7 Days

Priority

Priority determines which shipping rule is applied first when multiple rules match.

Payment Configuration

Payment settings allow customers to complete purchases using supported payment methods.

Online Payments

Enable online payment processing to accept digital transactions. Supported gateways include:

• PhonePe
• Razorpay

Environment Selection

Before launching your store, payment gateways can be tested using Sandbox mode.

Available options:

• Sandbox - Test environment for development and testing
• Live - Production environment for real transactions

API Credentials

Configure the credentials provided by your payment gateway provider:

• Key ID
• Secret Key

Cash on Delivery (COD)

Enable COD if customers should be allowed to pay upon delivery. COD can help increase sales in regions where customers prefer offline payment methods.
